If I being honest here, I don’t need to buy another book.
Reason #1: I’m in the middle (err.. read the first 75 pages) of “Infinite Jest“, and I just haven’t the slightest idea of what’s going on. I’m kinda over it. But I should probably try to finish it before picking up something else.
Reason #2: We need a rug for under our dining room table, we need a coffee table, we need a step-stool. We do not need another book for our invisible book shelf.
- Hunger Makes Me A Modern Girl by Carrie Brownstein – AAAAAAND I just found a new line for my Instagram bio.
- The Last Love Song by Joan Didion – Read this, and then you’ll buy it too! And then we can start a book club. Or whatever!
- M Train by Patti Smith – Read “Just Kids”. Full-on sobbed and felt so many different emotions. FAR AND AWAY, best book I ever read. I have high hopes for this one.
- Woolgathering by Patti Smith – ^^ ditto ^^
