I just got back from a very, very last minute trip to Utah and somewhere in the time that I was gone, it became mid-August. This summer has been crazy busy so if it’s midnight on any given day, you’ll most likely find me in this position. Usually somewhere around 10 PM, I go from painting like a lady, sitting at my easel, to the floor where I sprawl out and paint like a 5 year-old. I’ve been working very, very late into the night on a bunch of different paintings, surviving on coffee and adrenaline. It’s exhausting and invigorating at the same time.
It’s so easy to work so hard on things that you absolutely love.
