.) I feel like I always fall victim to at least one runway trend per season. This summer, I’m kind of obsessed with these overalls. For those mornings when skinny jeans are too restrictive and shorts feel like a little too much – overalls would be such an easy solution.
.) After painting this series of floral arrangements, I’ve been taking a break from the structure of bouquets. Instead, I’ve been drawn to wildflowers. The meticulous and the perfected can be beautiful, but nature is one of those things that is meant to be left as free and untamed as possible.
.) I’m not going to lie when I say I’ve put a lot on my plate recently. It’s like a Thanksgiving dinner is on my plate, and now I have just attempted to make room for dessert. When schedules get this crazy, it’s 100% absolutely necessary to take time to breathe – look out a window, stare at the ceiling fan and just breathe.
.) Searching around Pinterest, I’ve found myself drawn to these images of old winnebagos with backdrops that can only be found in the middle of nowhere. I’ve never really been an outdoorsy type of person, but a old-school style road trip on Route 66 is something that is now found its way to the top of bucket list.
.) Blue indigo tie-dye is something that I’ve been seeing everywhere, and I’m loving it. Tie-dye can look real hippie-dippy, but like most things, it looks real cool in moderation. This article from Kinfolk magazine will make you just as intrigued as I am – promise!
