I feel so cliche saying this… Like you can’t see me shaking my head but I am, but I totally love yoga.
Being a dancer during college, I first started doing yoga about 8’ish years ago. It was incorporated into our warm-ups, our cool-downs, our stretches, and at dance camp, we would do the sun salutation every morning. Obviously since then, I don’t do it nearly as religiously. Welp, until now.
My sister and I have been doing yoga about 3 or 4 times a week for about a month now and we’ve both noticed a physical difference. I’ve noticed it mostly in my arms and my core, but the biggest difference has been the practice has completely relaxed my mind after a long day at work.
The picture above is my sister stretching in my new Smartwool socks. The cut of these socks are meant to be worn with ballet flats, or any shoe with a similar silhouette but just a forewarning, you won’t want to take them off! Especially this time of year – barefoot is still a little chilly, anything thicker can be too warm. So while I do yoga barefoot, I do put these socks on in the morning, and begrudgingly take them off before I work out.
